Welcome To the Spray Shop!
Our dedicated spray shop was designed with you in mind, and it’s just one aspect of our services that sets us apart.
Why Use a Spray Shop?
We wanted a dedicated facility for in-shop work; one that included individual rooms designed for each step of the painting and finishing process. This kind of environmental control delivers top-quality finishes that are just as beautiful and durable as possible.
Step 1: The Prep Room
Dust-free prep is the only way to go!
We use sanding tools with HEPA-filtered, Festool vacuums and a downdraft table, effectively containing all dust and debris that’s created during the initial sanding/prep stages. This, in turn, leads to an uncontaminated finish.
Step 2: The Spray Room
Carrying that quality environment to the next stage, the spray room has the following controls in place:
- Filtered air
- Ventilation system
- Lighting from all angles to eliminate shadowing and allow for close inspections
In this facility, we can successfully work with traditional oil-based and acrylic paints, lacquers, and clear finishes.
Step 3: The Drying and Curing Room
This room's environment is designed to change to the necessary curing temperatures and humidity needed for different products. Drying too fast or too slow could compromise the durability of the finish.
Step 4: The Packaging Station
It’s time to bring your drawers and doors back to your kitchen! Because protecting your beautiful new surfaces is our top priority, we utilize a number of different packaging materials for your specific finish.
